In 2003, Alessandro Mapelli set out to answer a question no one had thought to ask: what if a group of thirty people could travel together the way a private jet passenger travels alone? The result was the Limobus: a luxury coach reimagined from the ground up, with oversized leather seats, a full lounge, on-board catering and a multilingual hostess. Europe's first luxury bus. No. Limobus is a proprietary Moveolux concept, designed and built by Moveolux and protected as a registered trademark owned exclusively by the company. Other operators may offer premium buses or luxury coaches, but Limobus identifies a specific Moveolux configuration and experience that cannot be found elsewhere. In short, generic luxury coaches exist across the market, while the Limobus belongs to Moveolux alone.
Yes. The Limobus can also be arranged for private occasions, leisure tours, celebrations, family gatherings, weddings, anniversaries, group journeys and exclusive days out in Italy. It comes into its own when the journey itself should become part of the experience rather than a simple transfer, whether for intercity tours, scenic itineraries, transfers to villas, private events or luxury destinations. The essence is simple: the group travels together with comfort, privacy and a level of service far above that of a traditional bus.
Yes. The Limobus is especially suited to corporate events, incentive trips, MICE programmes, product launches, roadshows, conferences, delegations and corporate hospitality in Italy. Its value is to turn the transfer into part of the experience: the group travels together with comfort, privacy, premium amenities and full operational coordination, whether for airport transfers, hotel-to-venue movements, intercity routes, social programmes or networking on board. For incentives and corporate events, the Limobus adds a genuine wow effect and elevates the premium perception of the entire programme.
The Moveolux Limobus comes in three distinctive configurations conceived for different group sizes: Seabreeze for 18, Elements for 20 and Individuals for 28 guests. Capacity therefore reaches up to 28 passengers depending on the model chosen, with some configurations providing additional places for the driver, hostess or a second driver. The right vehicle depends on passenger numbers, luggage, the type of event, the duration of the journey and the level of service required.
